Case Study: Daniel Rodriguez
Watch Daniel Rodriguez discuss how he secured a $4 Million Verdict utilizing MotionLit’s 3D Animations, Medical Illustrations, and Exhibit Graphics.
The case involved a paratransit vehicle driver who lost control on the freeway, causing the van to spin out of control and careen into the center median. Attorneys Daniel Rodriguez and Blaine Mustoe of Rodriguez & Associates, represented the decedent and his daughter in the wrongful death claim against the medical transport company. The defendant failed to strap-in the disabled passenger into the van, which led to multiple physical injuries including broken ribs, followed by hemothorax and other injuries that ultimately led to his demise.
MotionLit prepared multiple animations including an Accident Reconstruction of the accident scene, as well as a Mechanism-of-Injury Animation which showed the complex sequence of events that occurred during his injury. The visuals played a vital role during the courtroom presentation in displaying the evidence in an accurate way that helped the opponents and jury, to understand and ingest the story.
In addition to the animation, MotionLit prepared a PowerPoint for the firm’s closing arguments which summarized and packaged the case in a visually engaging way.
